Happy Birthday Desire' !

Desire' had a birthday this month. She also just purchased a new "mommy car". It's black but it's not a convertable. This was perfect tho for 'driving by with a Birthday Hi'!

Fresh out of a Copic class by Jen DelMuro in my local scrapbooking store. I'm still learning how to use these with light, shadow and shading. Lots of fun.

Happy Birthday

We had 2 birthdays in the family this week. So, I made cards for my sister-in-law and nephew. I worked long and hard in a labor of love. Then I made a batch of cookies - took all evening. I found a metal basket to match the watermelon girl card.

So I carefully packed it all up in a box and shipped it via Priority Mail so that it would get there in a timely manner. Unfortunately, most of the box contents didn't make it there. The box had been taped all around. The cookies and both cards were missing! So, the pictures are posted here for all - including the two they were made for...... Enjoy! At least they can see what they are missing.....

Playin' with Pazzles

My neighbor was working on a wedding scrapbook and could not find a reception title. So, she wandered over (with paper in hand :) and requested I make one for her. The couple was married in Hawaii and their colors were pink and orange. Since I'm always looking for an 'excuse' to put my Pazzles Inspiration to use - I gladly accepted the challenge.

Since I already had my Pazzles out I figured I'd put together a birthday card for my friend Mikey. His birthday was in a couple of weeks. So, I might as well get it done too!

The background behind the text and two of the balloons on the birthday card are a light green. The camera just didn't "see" it that way.

I saved both of the files so if you would like to have either of them let me know in your comment. I'd be happy to email them to you. Thank you Klo and the Pazzles Craftroom Tutorials for teaching me how to do these!

New Hobby

I took a few classes at the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington last month. I've discovered a new addiction. Digital Scrapbooking. What a cool, fun and fast way to SB! These are some of the pages I did in and after class.

The classes were taught by . I learned how to use my PSE7 program to produce scrapbook pages. I highly recommend these classes should they ever come to your area!

Spring Fairy

Hi everyone! Thank you for stopping by.

I'm new to the blog scene and this is my very first entry. I've been following and admiring several of your blogs and creative genius for quite a while now. My mom suggested I get in on the fun. So, this first card is dedicated to her. Love ya Mom!

I've completed this card for a challenge over at "Flutter By Wednesday" whose challenge is to have a butterfly, fairy or angel on your project. I've had this stamp a long time and have been waiting for the excuse to use it. The post in the the ribbon is a bookmark with a fairy charm attached. So, it's a card and gift in one.

Please feel free to offer any tips on blogging and such. For instance, I don't know yet how to get the links to your blogs/challenges in this post.
